Yellow Goldenback Shrimp

Golden Back Yellow shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) display a vibrant yellow body accented by a bold yellow dorsal stripe. Their coloration truly shines in a lush, planted aquarium. Although their algae-eating abilities aren’t as strong as those of Amano shrimp, they breed readily, and their growing numbers can still make a noticeable impact on algae control. They’re a lively, charming addition to any planted tank, and watching them graze and clean throughout the day can be surprisingly captivating—so be warned, they may keep you glued to your aquarium for hours!
